Lowcountry Regional EMS Council
Tuition Payment Plan

In an effort to make EMS training affordable to as many people as possible, the Lowcountry EMS Council offers students the opportunity to stretch their tuition payments out over the entire course of the basic, intermediate or paramedic program with no interest payment and no additional fee, provided the terms of the payment program are met.

To take advantage of the Tuition Payment Plan, the student agrees to pay a minimum down payment of 15% of the tuition at registration and the remaining 85% in equal monthly payments to be paid off prior to the end of the didactic portion of the class. Students can pay a larger down payment and reduce the monthly payment amount if they wish. In addition, students can also pay their down payment in multiple payments provided a minimum of 15% of the tuition is paid by the course registration deadline.

The terms of the Tuition Payment Plan follow and it is important that students seeking to utilize the plan understand them completely:

  • Payments are due on the first day of each month until the balance is paid in full. The balance must be paid in full prior to the last day of class.

  • In the case of an unpaid balance, in addition to all other remedies available to Lowcountry Regional EMS Council, Inc. all further services to the student will be withheld. In addition, failure to make any scheduled payment may result in the withholding of services from Lowcountry Regional EMS Council.

  • In the event any sum to be paid under the agreement is in default for more than a period of thirty (30) days, the student will be charged a 1.5% monthly finance charge on the unpaid balance.

  • In the event legal action is taken to enforce this agreement, the student will be responsible for all fees and costs incurred by Lowcountry Regional EMS Council, Inc. in the collection of the unpaid balance.

The Tuition Payment Plan is subject to all other policies of the Lowcountry Regional EMS Council. Please contact the Council office for additional information or to register for a class under the Tuition Payment Plan.
