EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN-PARAMEDIC
The Paramedic course follows the 1999 U.S. Department of Transportation/National Highway Traffic Safety Administration National Standard Curriculum and consists of 1,100 hours of classroom instruction and competency-based hospital clinical instruction and field internship. During Paramedic training, students will receive provider level courses in ITLS, ACLS and PEPP. The certifying examination at the conclusion of the program is the National Registry Paramedic exam.
